Black cloth with blindstamped decoration and gilt spine titles. 315 numbered pages including index, plus a 24-page catalogue of the publisher's "practical and scientific" books. Spine gilt somewhat tarnished. 1" tear on the front joint. Four narrow punctures on the back board that penetrate into the text block. Previous owner's bookplate on the front pastedown. Endpapers are foxed. The rear endpapers have corner creases. The binding is tight and the text is unmarked.. First American Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
