Contemporary half calf on marbled paper-laid boards, raised-ribbed spines elaborately gilt tooled with contrasting labels, matching marbled edges and endpapers (lightly scuffed at extrems with small mark at tail of spine of vol I - otherwise a VG set). Pp. various (armorial bookplate of James Lovett on front paste-downs; no inscriptions).
