Signed in ink by both authors: Peggie Phipps Boegner and Richard Gachot, on the half title-page. Not inscribed to anyone, just signed. This book is about the family of Henry Phipps, Jr. (1839-1934) who was a partner to Andrew Carnegie in in the steel industry. He built Westbury House in Long Island which is now a public showpiece. Includes biographical data on him and his descendants for two generations. Illustrated in black & white with family photos. 12" high X 9" wide, 280 pages.
