About This Item

1942. ONCHI Koshiro. HAKUBUTSUSHI Zuihitsu Shashin. Tokyo, Genkosha, Showa 17 [1942], 1 of 1500cc, Cloth, printed in silver ink, 27.0 x 19.4 cm. Very unusual work by Onchi, combining his written thought on natural forms with reproductions of his photography (depicting plants, insects, animals). An interesting and scarce title, this copy is internally very good, but without its dust-wrapper or slipcase, and with a slightly worn and soiled cover. It is priced accordingly, [Urawa, p.51].
