Tacubaya, Mexico : Insituto Panamericano de Geographia e Historia , 1952. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Octavo. 32 pages, indexed, plus illustrations. Hardcover rebound in black buckram (NOT ex-library) with original wrappers bound in. There is minimal wear to the binding. Prior owner's bookplate on the verso of the title page and partially obscured in the gutter. (Bookplate of George Breathett, a professor at Bennett College in Greensboro, NC in the 1950s-1960s). The text is toned but clean and sound. Text is in French. The title translates to, "Haiti: Historical and Archaeological Monuments." Contains 16 illustrations as well as a fold out map in the rear.
