London: Hutchinson, 1953. 1st edition, 8vo, 288pp, frontis, with the ownership signature of the cartoonist J F Horrabin who has pasted various cuttings on Tomlinson to the prelims whilst pasted on the fr pastedown is a 12 line letter from Tomlinson praising various newspaper strip cartoons created by Horrabin; spine lettering oxidised and dulled o/w G/VG Copy in soiled, extensively repaired and internally reinforced DJ with strips missing from edges but which has been backed by paper of roughly the same colour so the effect is fairly good. Letter Signed By Author. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
