Neat ink owner's signature (W.L.Wadham) dated 1902 on half title page. 11.5 x 17 cm. Original grey cloth with lettering along spine (rather worn, especially at the head & tail). Back cover with proprietory publisher's mark; front cover with black lettering above image of gymanst on parallel bars -the price of one shilling printed at the bottom (some handling marks and corners bumped). Hinges split but binding firm. A volume in the "All-England" series. Intriguing illustrated adverts showing gym apparatus and fencing equipment.. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Good.
