Boston: Little, Brown and Company. NF. 1928. 1st American Edition. Hardcover. First U.S. edition, first printing with matching dates on the title pa ge and September, 1928 on the copyright page. The book is bound in blu e cloth with gold lettering. Personally inscribed by Farnol on a bookp late that is attached to the lower right corner of the front fly leaf. The inscription is dated 1947. A Near Fine copy. Former owner's perso nal bookplate is affixed to the upper left corner of the front pastedo wn page. The dust jacket has two pieces of old brown packing tape on t he verso used as reinforcement at the folds and edges. Three quarters of the inside rear flap has been removed (neatly cut away for some odd reason). Small rubs to the corners and mild dust soiling to the spine and panels. .
