Stein and Day, 1976 262 pp with 27 B&W illustrations and six maps in text. General Heinz Guderian was the officer most responsible for creating the blitzkreig in World War ll. In person, he led the lightening campaigns by tank and aircraft that quickly put the greater part of Europe under Nazi domination. This biography was made possible when Kenneth Macksey was given access to the Guderian family archives and the full cooperation of the General's oldest son. Text is cl;ean, tight and unmarked. Beige paper boards with red cloth quarter binding are immaculate. DJ has light shelfwear.. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Book Club Edition.
