New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1933. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/very good. 360 pp, including glossary of early mining terms. A fine copy in publisher's red cloth stamped in gilt. Small label of the Arthur H. Clark Co. on front pastedown. Silver and gold colored dust jacket is clipped at all four flap corners and chipped at spine ends but remains well preserved and attractive overall. A scarce novel of old mining days in Nevada. "When the old prospector, out on what may be one of his last ventures, finds a bonanza, he and his young friends and the girl they trust with their secret become embroiled with a group of men, ked by the brave but unscrupulous saloon proprietor, who try to wrest the claim from its rightful owners.
