Illustrated throughout with numerous plates and vignette illustrations. In a red cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally smart, with just a couple of marks and light shelfwear. Dustwrapper is sound, though with labels to the spine panel and some chipping and closed tears to the edges. Internally, firmly bound. Front hinge slightly strained. Institutional labels to front free-endpaper. Pages are bright and clean. Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
