Fair Condition/No Dust Jacket. 550 g; XVI, 184 pages, last blank, Acknowledgements, Introduction by Author, 2 Appendices, List of Illustrations. Black-and-white photographic frontispiece of Captain John A. Collins -- Captain of H.M.A.S. Sydney. The text is illustrated with 16 black-and-white photographs and the occasional black and white maps. Grey coloured boards had gilt writing on the spine, now rubbed off. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and there is rubbing to the book corners, small rip in the cloth at the head of the spine, Shelfwear to the top and lower book edges. Browning and foxing to the paper edges. Browning to the endpapers and previous owner's name to the top edge of the front end page. Some foxing and handling marks to the internal pages of the book. A record of H.M.A.S. Sydney and her seven months attached to the British Mediterranean Fleet during the months of June 1942 January 1941 of World War II.
