London: Jonathan Cape, 1931. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Good+/Poor. Illustrated with Photographs taken by Members of the Expedition. Thrilling account of the Author's exploration of the largest Forest in the World, stretching from Argentina to Mexico, from Ecuador to Pernambuco. Following the Route of Nuflo de Chavez, 1557, Duguid sets out with a Bolivian Diplomat and a Cinematographer. On the Rio, they're joined by a Russian Jaguar Hunter. Frontis illustrated with a photo of Duguid with a Jaguar. Green patterned cloth cover with Gilt Title on Black Ground to spine. 344 Pages, 550g, 8" Tall. Previous owner's illustrated Bookplate on ffep, dated 1931. Cloth slightly faded at spine. Some edge wear around spine with fraying at spine ends. No other inscriptions except old penciled price. Occasional spots of browning, mostly marginal. Jacket has the spine missing, also edgewear. Unclipped, original price 10s. 6d. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall
