The endpapers are heavily age foxed with an occasional page having light specks. Book is without marks or writings, pages are fairly clean and book is tight and sturdy. All the pages are present in book. Good/None dust jacket condition. BACKGROUND/DESCRIPTION: A ROMANCE. THE ENDPAPERS OF THIS BOOK ARE NOT BLACK, THEY ARE WHITE. The author, Herbert Edward Read was born in 1893 and died in 1968. He was best known as an art critic and advocate of modern architecture. The Green Child was his one and only novel.
