Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" Signed and inscribed by author Herbert Read to noted poet Denise Levertov (with the original spelling of her name): 'For Denise Levertoff Herbert Read.' Original grey cloth (tears and wear to darkened spine, boards darkened and rubbed). 4 color plates. Read and Levertov had a long association. In fact her first book, THE DOUBLE IMAGE, issued the next year, thanks him for his assistance.Illustrated By Felix Kelly.
