About This Item
London: Heinemann, 1935. PROOF COPY. A softcover. Publisher's ochre-coloured wrappers. No D/W. The proof is in VG condition with foxing to the early/late pages of the book, creasing to the spine (as always) a strip of tape residue to the front cover. A rare and rather strange early novel by Herbert Read which presumably must be very rare as a proof. The author's only novel.
