Rubbing to spine ends. Some foxing to interior. Dust jacket is sunned tos pine, foxed to covers, short tears to edges. Lt.-Col. Stanley Casson, distinguished scholar and archaeologist as well as brilliant author, has written this account of the relationship and mutual influence of Greece and Great Britain with the ease and wit which is based on profound scholarship, a vigorous and lively mind and love of the subject itself.
