Black embossed leather with gilt, gilt on spine is tarnished and worn. Covers edgeworn and scuffed. Spine head chipped and ragged. Front endpaper missing. Hinge starting at front and webbing is showing. Frontis nearly torn out but still hanging on. Gathering at pgs 269-280 is coming loose but hanging on by threads. Marbled edges toned. A few pgs have fingerprints and/or foxing but generally clean. Binding still good. (US history, american west)
