First edition. 8vo., pictorial cloth, lettered and decorated in gilt and silver; t.e.g.; frontis. + 278 pp. Ink ownership stamp to all endpapers. Spine darkened; slight rubbing and soiling to cloth, light wear to extremes. Slight dampstain to small portion of bottom corners of several pages. Hinges just starting. Foxing to fly leaf and verso of frontis. Touch of soiling to a few pages. An about very good copy overall. (BAL 4094).
