Chicago: M. M. Gray and Co., 1906. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Hardcover/ no DJ; Good+ to possibly VG condition; 236 pages + adverts; 7 x 5"". Brown cloth binding shows a corner bump top front, rubbing, soil; spine sunfaded- no legible printing. All gold lettering on cover crisp & intact. Still displays well- esp. front cover. Old owner name in fountain pen in corner of front fixed endpaper. Text & endpapers only v. lightly toned; tight, square copy. No marks seen in text; rear endpaper has old list of compounds in pencil- very light. NO hinge splits, NOT ex library. A nice representative copy (esp. interesting is section on deciphering doctors' handwriting on prescriptions).
