Gilt titles to fronts and spines (the latter somewhat dulled). Spines a little darkened. Mild edgewear. Some corners with board showing a little. Binding sound, text clean. Mild, scattered foxing to interiors. Text in French. Previous owner bookplates to front pastedown of each vol. Gilt topped text blocks. Trace soil to text block bottom edges. Heavily illustrated with gorgeous b/w and sepia reproduced engravings. Rare as a set. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall .
