Light scratching to front board, spot of fraying to cloth along bottom edge. A nice, clean copy. The author's rare second mystery, basis of a 1940 film by the same name with a screenplay written by hard-boiled legend Peter Ruric, AKA Paul Cain. Nice illustrated endpapers with plan of Grand Central Terminal.
