Early edition. This copy ca:mid 1920's with broken type on page 171. 271pp+4pp ads. Illustrated by John R. Neill with 12 color plates and many black/white drawings. Hardcover. Red brick color boards with a full page illustration to front cover, lightly shelfworn and soiled, with wear along edges, spine ends and edge points. . Illustration lightly rubbed and shelfworn. Internally end pages illustrated in black/white are slightly age toned but clean with a previous owners name to ownership box on the 2nd free endpage. Otherwise, pages age-toned, but aside from an occassional smudge, are clean. The binding is tight and hinges intact.
