Foxing on cover which is missing the upper left quarter of rear panel. This is actually Journal of the American Oriental Society. Fifth Volume, Number 1 (1855). Most of this issue is devoted to Stoddard's work which appears at pages 1-180. The American Oriental Society appears to have also issued Stoddard's work as separate offprint.
