About This Item

London: Arrow Books, 1995. Book. Very Good. Soft cover. First Paperback Printings. 328, 322 pp. Both books have light rubbing on the corners with flat uncreased spines; no interior markings. In The Grace in Older Women, making love with a lady in a forest is one way Lovejoy can get close to her set of Bilston enamels, but ownership is a different matter. Worse, his contacts are also having a hard time of it, for the village of Fenstone is becoming deserted, and his forger friend is in jail. And in The Possessions of a Lady, Lovejoy is wanted by the local constabulary, and a fellow dealer is beating him to the punch on every priceless antique. Lovejoy has to find Tinker's cousin's girl who is missing, and expose insider trading at an auction. Created by Ian La Frenais, Lovejoy was a British television series that ran from 1986 to 1994, starring Ian McShane, Dudley Sutton, Chris Jury, Phyllis Logan, Malcolm Tierney, Caroline Langrishe, Diane Parish, and a host of others, including Joanna Lumley for three episodes..
