About This Item
Chicago, IL Moody Press, 1979. Hardcover Fine in Very Good+ DJ: Tthe Book is nearly pristine, showing no wear, but a tiny, superficial scratch at the lower front panel; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Appears unopened, unread. The DJ shows only a dime-size scar at the lower front panel; the price has been clipped; mylar-protected. Not perfect, but virtually 'As New'. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. 165pp. Appears to by the first Moody Press edition [1979]. This text was first published by Harper & Row in 1974. Hardback with DJ. I've read this twice and I'm sure a third reading will come down the road. Watch carefully for some of the subtle and brief comments which reveal a profound depth of understanding of Torah. Mr Schultz describes Deuteronomy as the most important book of the OT and does a good job of defending his position. He unfolds the God-man relationship in a way which corrects western traditional teachings regarding the legal code approach to Torah with a covenant obligation model. This is a must read for anyone wanting to get started on the right foot understanding the Bible.
