About This Item

Jonathan Cape. First edition published by Jonathan Cape in 1951. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper has small amounts of wear to the spine ends and corner tips. There is a tiny tear to the top of the back flap. There is no loss and the jacket isn't price clipped displaying the correct price of 10s 6d net. The book in red boards with a goshawk motif on the front board is square and tight. The maroon topstain is bright and there is no foxing at all. There is a small previous owners name to the front free end paper. Overall a near fine copy. TH White's memoir about his attempts to train a Goshawk. A rare book to find in near fine condition.  . Near Fine. Hardcover. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 1951.
