Dark blue cloth with gilt lettering and light blue decorative stamping. ix, 548pp. Frontispiece, 7 full-page plates (as called for). Very good. Mildly edgeworn (mainly at head and tail of spine). A tight, decent first edition of this lovely (if unsigned) Margaret Armstrong designed title.
