William Gowans, New York, 1865. Edition Unstated. Hardcover. Poor/No Dust Jacket. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. This is an uncut/unopened copy, no dust jacket as issued. Dark green gilt stamped cloth over boards, 111 pp. + 40 pp. adverts, a new edition with an Introduction and notes by Edward Armstrong. Corners and spine ends bumped with wear, back cover damp stained, as is the fore-edge of front cover, a dampstain on all pages at the gutter in a "V" shape that extends out 2" on top of each page, and down about 2" along gutter; also a faint line of damp stain along top edge of pages near the end of the book. The interior, while stained, does not smell mildewed and the pages are clean, no writing or marks, and the binding is sound. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: 1 lb 12 oz.
