London, Society fro Promoting Christian Knowledge, (& Macmillan, New York) 1942 1st. Hardback, 8.5 x 5.5 inches. Blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine. In dustwrapper. (Brown with blue lettering.) In very good condition with very good dustwrapper. (DW Price clipped. Bottom edges rubbed and partially torn at bottom corners. In protective sleeve.) Some chipped damage to bottom edges of boards, large bump to bottom leading corner, some darkening to bottom edges of pages. Minor mark to front endpaper with neat pencil inscription “Tim Verdon.” A couple of minor dark foxing spots to outer page edges, crease to bottom corner of pages where bumped. Else clean and tight. Else a very good clean and tight copy. Scarce. Please note: This volume has come from a smokers library so does suffer slightly from this. xvi + 324pp.
