This is a near fine (almost like new) hardcover with dust jacket. First Pocket Books hardcover printing 1992. This copy is crisp and clean inside and out. The pages are crisp, clean and free of markings. The binding is tight and straight. Black hardcover boards under jacket are also near fine. The dust jacket is like new, clean and shiny with barely a hint of shelf wear. Standard medium octavo book size or 6.5" x 9.5" with 359 pages.
Flooded by memories and poisoned by Agent Orange, Dan Lambert is desperate for work. In a moment of fear and fury, he kills a man and that mistake will change his life forever. Now, he is on the run - headed for the Louisiana bayous. The police and bounty hunters are on his tail - including a bizarre team of two who includes an Elvis impersonator and a ruthless loner and freak-show refugee.
