About This Item
Baltimore: Black Classic Press, 1997. Advance Reading Copy. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 244p. Original cloth-backed boards. dj. 21cm. INSCRIBED on title-page by Mosley ("Yvette an Icon & a person Walter Mosley"). Few spots on page edges. Small spot on front cover. Yvette Le Roy, the inscribee, owned Liberty House, a bookshop in Harlem between 1969 and 1979, which offered a place during that decade for reading and appearances by a lot of African American authors, not including Mosley (who hadn't begun writing until long after Liberty House was gone).
