Coloured title illustration and 31 splendid full page coloured illustrations, other line illustrations. Golly lives out Crusoe's experiences. Tail of spine and corners very slightly worn, 10 mm (½") light water stain on upper hinge, not showing on spine itself, a few very light scratches to boards, hardly noticeable. Ink name on front endpaper, very slight faint foxing to 1 lower margin, contents exceptionally nice. Very good plus bright tight clean copy. Wonderful colour illustrations. Spine and corners bumped and worn. Covers slightly grubby and scuffed, stain to spine edge of front cover where colour has seeped from cloth. Inscription in pencil to front free-endpaper (dated 1907). Endpapers lightly browned. Front joint is cracked (between endpaper and title-page). Contents are foxed and slightly grubby. A nice copy overall.

Wonderfully illustrated in rich color by Florence K. Upton, verses by her mother Bertha Upton. An oblong quarto, solid and VG in its pictorial boards, with light soiling to the panels. The binding is very firm, the color illustrations are uniformly clean and bright. A handsome, very presentable copy.
