About This Item
London: Macmillan And Co, 1959. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 12mo. Standard revised edition of Palgrave's Treasury, with additional poems, distinguished by its handsome Hatchards of Piccadilly fine binding, likely by Sangorski and Sutcliffe. This is half red leather with pink cloth and gilt lining, five raised bands with gilt decoration and titling to spine. Some light shelfwear and a little sunning to spine, but still a very pleasing volume. Minor foxing to binder's blanks, but otherwise all in VG internal order. Spectacular marbling to endpapers and gilt to top edge of block. If you are going to own one Golden Treasury... etc etc. This is a charity sale for Friends Of Morston Church (reg.1099831). 12mo. xiv, 576pp

About Dodman Books
Formerly Journobooks, my original speciality was books about journalism, journalists, newspapers and other media (hence the name) and I still have a good stock of hard-to-find books in that field. Over time I have added a wide and eclectic variety of other collectible volumes alongside a general secondhand stock. I am a collector as well as a seller so know all about the pitfalls of online buying as well as the joys. I will try to make your buying experience as easy and as pleasant as possible.
