Tight and VG+ (just a touch of light offsettng at the front panel, light rubbing along the spine) in a crisp, price-intact ($2.50), VG dustjacket, with light chipping at the spine ends (1/2" of loss at each end) and light soiling to the rear panel. 12mo, Rex Stout's 3rd "psychological thriller" published by Vanguard Press, preceding his legendary Nero Wolfe series.

This used hardbound book is in fair condition. There is writing on the front free page and on the page following the title page. Page 16 and 17 have five pea size brown spots on each page. There is writing i pencil on page 37. Ther is a bron pea size sspon on page 46 and 47. Page 47 has a flap on the top right corner. There is writing on page 225 and underlining in pencil. Thereis underlining on page 248. Page 249 has a one inch tea on the bottom left side. The back free page has multiple dates stamped on it. The back paste down page has several number written in pencil. The binding holds all pages in tact. The boards are well worn. The head and tail are bumped. The Dust jacket is soiled and torn along the front left side . The dust jacket is glued to the front and back paste down pages.
