Boston: Meador Press, 1961. Hardcover. 302p., very good hardcover in edgeworn dj. Inscribed by the author in October 1961 to "Elsie Anderson, a Fair Lady of B.P.A." The life story of Charr, a Korean immigrant and convert to Christianity who came to San Francisco by way of Hawaii. He served in the US army during World War I but was denied citizenship. He later moved to Portland, Oregon and worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
