London: Gollancz, 1932. First Edition. 8vo, pp. 287. Inscribed by the author on flyleaf, and a letter of presentation to Faith Baldwin taped in... "I have a feeling that I have failed to inculcate the moral which I had in mind: in fact, parts of the book have been revised so much that I fancy the moral has been mislaid!!..." A TLS with a line in holograph, signed. Cover little worn and torn, o/w VG. Maj. Yeats-Brown wrote this as an autobiographical account of his experiences in the Balkans and Middle East from 1908-1918.
