This "GEM" of a book is in Great Condition. The Cover is stunning considering the age, the hard cover is thicker than most books and solid, very well put together,Victorian brown, with gold embellishments, pages are all intact and vibrant. The binding is a little loose on the inside front flap but still very attached. Page edges are gold. This reference style/guide book, outlines the happiest and saddest of times in our lives and how we all go through these things. A moral guide on how to handle or rather be prepared to deal with these "gems" that life throws at you. The book is full of "gem" engraved printed pictures, displaying the topics of that chapter. This book is truly a unique display of the thoughts and thinkings of early times of the triumphs and trails of Life.A really great addition to someone's vintage book collection.
