Methuen & Co. 1905 (1st.ed.). Bound original publisher's blue cloth with nice large floral decor. in gold on spine and front cover, lettered in gold. In good condition. Extremities lightly rubbed, a few tiny nicks ends of spine. Corners lightly bumped, with small small faint mark lower front. But still nice bright binding. A little bit of foxing, light browning inside, small name inscription on front endpaper (Adolf Offe). Else generally clean & tight. Hf. title-page. 548 pp; Forty pages of publisher's adverts to the rear, dated February 1905. Author’s last novel
