(8.7 x 5.7 inches) .xiv,756pp. Neat previous owner name and date on front blank free endpaper, otherwise a fine clean copy throughout. Finely bound in full tan calf by Bayntun of Bath. Raised bands with gilt wavy lines on the spine. The compartments ruled and decorated in gilt. Red and green Morocco labels, double ruled and lettered in gilt. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. Gilt inner dentelles. Faint mark to the front board and a crack to the inner front endpaper, but the board is firm and tight and there is no cracking to the leather. Overall a near fine copy of this classic work.
