Very Good. 1931 University of Wyoming doctoral thesis submitted by Joseph Conrad Twinem pertaining to the genesis of the geological development of the lithosphere of southeastern Wyoming. Includes discussions of dozens of formations and numerous skillfully executed watercolors of cross-sections of formations, etc. Of special interest are four large watercolors, two of them 3-panel fold outs, of Wyoming landscapes, and one of the Rock Creek oil fields. Modern ink owner's name to the front pastedown. Pages browned throughout. Underlining in red and blue crayon throughout, more so to the first half of the volume. German translation of the first 12 letters by Forster. The second part of the letters was apparently published in English in 1798 and in German in 1800..

Both book and dust jacket are in nearly perfect condition. The book inside the front cover is slightly discolored. Please see photos. This is also the case inside the rear cover. I think it is something to do with the glue that was used.
