Appears lightly read, publisher's original light emerald-green cloth, illustrated endpapers, colors on plates are still vibrant, hinges starting / loose, binding shaken, light soiling, scuffs to covers, dog-ear creases / closed tear pages at bottom of gutter with closed tear at top of title page, rubbing to extremities typical of books of this age, else pages are clean, unmarked, bright and binding fragile. All 12 color plates present. The seventh book by author Ruth Plumly Thompson and the twenty-first book of the Wizard of Oz series originally created by L. Frank Baum. Cover art and 12 color interior plates with numerous B&W illustrations by John R. Neill. Classic fantasy children's book, highly collectible. 282 pgs. 4to.
