Renowned designer Kaffe Fassett (b.1937) has often been asked where he finds the source material for his brilliant knitting and needlepoint designs. This book provides the answer with a collection of design sources including paintings, ceramics, textiles and beadwork. Fassett illustrates the point in this book by giving his own knitting and needlepoint interpretations of some of the pieces. .
