Full calf, rebacked preserving original front and rear covers, spine ruled and decorated in gilt in 19th century style. 357 pp., well illustrated with full page plates showing the recreations described in the text. Scattered foxing to plates; very sound overall. All edges gilt. Minor rubbing to edges of bidning. (Subject: Medieval, Britain & Ireland.)
