Oblong folio. 27x 37cm, the first edition, 84 p., frontis portrait, colour vignette on the title page, 55p of plates and illustrations from sketches & "Christmas Visitors" being 19 pages of colour sketch illustrations, expertly restored, last two page repaired with small puncture on page 81-82, cloth backed colour illustrated "Swimming Scene" decorated paper over boards, gilt titles on the spine, boards worn and stained at the edges, fragile, still a very good copy.
