London: Jonathan Cape, 1984. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Soft cover. Near Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Signed uncorrected proof of the novel The Glamour. Softback book is tight clean and square. Wraps sharp and clean, with a very light stain to the top corner. Sharp spine ends. Text block clean, with white edges. Previous booksellers pencil price to the 1st text page (containing blurb). The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels very carefully read. Near fine condition. Comes with white UK version of the jacket which is oversized and therefore has a little wear and a small tear to the head of joint. Signed and dedicated by author to the title page. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. Here is a very nice signed uncorrrected proof of Chris Priest's novel The Glamour "To Keith / With very best wishes / Christopher Priest / Sep '85" also comes with a promotional publishers postcard laid in. Nice and very uncommon item for a collector.
