Gladys's Repentance: The Story of Two Girls and a Fortune by Edith C. Wilson Hardback, undated but circa 1905 (contains inscription from 1906), appears to be first edition, illustrated, published by S. W. Partridge & Co., London, 329 pages + 32-page catalogue of publications by same publisher.
Measures around 7 3/4" by 5 1/2". Red cloth binding with gilt lettering and detail to front board and spine. A little scuffing and marking, rubbing to outer hinges, small signs of shelf-wear but quite clean, colouring and detail vivid and generally in very good condition for its age. Corners a little bumped. Binding quite firm. Page edges a little browned and marked but reasonably clean. Gift inscription to FFEP but otherwise page surfaces quite clean, the odd mark but no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
