Uncommon first edition copy of Cather's collection of stories from the girlhood of famous women throughout history, including Marie Antoinette, Eleanor of Poitu (Aquitaine), Isabella of Portugal, Elizabeth of England, Mary of Scotland, Yolanda of Aragon, Vittoria Colonna, Martha Washington, Louise Vigee, Clothilde of Burgundy, Judith of France, Dagmar of Demark, Philippa of Hainault, and Jacqueline of Hainault.
