Crime novel orig. published in London in 1925/26; this is a 1929 American reprint from Doubleday, Doran, part of its Weirdmoor Collection. With pink cloth-covered boards decorated with black silhouettes & lettering, it is in only Fair-Good condition: binding strong, but slightly shaken, edgewear & rubbing to extremities, hinges secure. Pages show moderate tanning but no markings save for former owner's name in neat pen inside front cover. Foxing to top outside page edges, light soil to others & spine cloth soiled & faded.
