An account of her years in the West - born in South Dakota, she moved to Nevada where she spent 5 years hunting and trapping and ranching. She became a prominent livestock rancher, but went bankrupt during the Depression of 1935, so she moved to California and then to Alaska where she spent 10 years on the frontier. INSCRIBED on the half title page by the author. Illustrated with photographs. 134 pp.
